Wright Acupuncture for Total Wellness, LLC is dedicated to providing adults and children ages 6 and above with competent and compassionate acupuncture consultation and treatment designed to promote healing and wellness.  We specialize in the care and treatment of those living with challenging chronic conditions including, but not limited to, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, anxiety, diabetes, hypertension, migraines, arthritis, autoimmune disorders, vertigo and peripheral neuropathy.

Your first appointment will involve a comprehensive individualized assessment focused on your primary health concern as well as an initial acupuncture treatment and will be approximately 60-75 minutes in duration.  Please bring a complete list of your medications and allergies with you to this initial appointment.  During your initial visit, a treatment plan will be established for you which will include the recommended number of treatments needed to achieve your health and wellness goals.  Chronic conditions typically require a longer course of treatment than acute conditions, and the number of treatments needed varies according to the individual.  Follow-up appointments include reassessment and an acupuncture treatment and are approximately 45 minutes in duration.  Please be sure to eat a light meal or snack prior to all appointments and avoid drinking alcohol or using drugs that have not been prescribed or recommended by a licensed health care provider.  Loose-fitting clothing is preferred, or you may opt to bring a change of clothing with you.

Acupuncture has been proven to be a safe and effective treatment for a variety of health concerns including, but not limited to, acute and chronic pain, including post-surgical pain, headaches including migraines, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, neuralgia, peripheral nervous system disorders such as Bell’s palsy, post-stroke complications, seasonal allergies, asthma, nausea and vomiting, hypertension, insomnia, nicotine dependence, adverse reactions to radiation therapy and chemotherapy, fatigue, fibromyalgia, type 2 diabetes and depression.
